Blepharoplasty Markings

Blepharoplasty Markings
Before blepharoplasty surgery, a plastic surgeon will typically make markings on the patient’s eyelids to guide the incisions and ensure a precise and symmetrical result. The markings are made while the patient is sitting up and looking straight ahead, and are used to indicate the amount of skin and/or fat to be removed from the upper or lower eyelids. The markings will typically be visible until the time of surgery.
