WHAT IS CRYOLIPOLYSIS?

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive fat reduction procedure that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat cells. During the treatment, a special device is placed on the targeted area, which then delivers cold temperatures to freeze and kill the fat cells beneath the skin. Over time, the body naturally eliminates the dead fat cells, resulting in a more toned and contoured appearance. Cryolipolysis is typically used on areas of the body such as the abdomen, thighs, and love handles, and has become a popular alternative to surgical procedures such as liposuction.

DURING THE PROCEDURE

  • The treatment area is marked and a protective gel pad is placed over the skin to protect it.
  • A suction applicator is attached to the area, which delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat cells.
  • The treated area may be massaged after the applicator is removed to enhance fat cell destruction.

ADVANTAGES OF CRYOLIPOLYSIS

Non-invasive: Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure, meaning that there are no incisions, needles or anesthesia required, reducing the risk of complications and downtime.

Targeted fat reduction: Cryolipolysis is designed to target specific areas of the body where stubborn pockets of fat are present, such as the abdomen, thighs, and love handles, allowing for targeted fat reduction.

No downtime: Cryolipolysis requires no downtime, meaning that patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure.

Long-lasting results: Cryolipolysis provides long-lasting results by destroying the targeted fat cells permanently.

HOW ARE FAT CELLS DESTROYED?

During cryolipolysis, fat cells are destroyed by the application of controlled cooling to the targeted area, which causes the fat cells to freeze and die. The body’s natural processes then eliminate the dead fat cells, resulting in a reduction of fat in the treated area.
